Diablo 3 and Inferno Level Difficulty

Diablo 3 Inferno - Ultra Hard Mode

Diablo 3 Difficulty Level - Inferno

Blizzard has announced that there will be a 4th level of difficulty in the upcoming release of the Diablo 3 online game.  This 4th new level of difficulty will be the Inferno level and Inferno mode will be available after completing all three of the previous difficulty levels.  In order of difficulty from easiest to hardest Diablo 3 will feature:

  1. Normal Level
  2. Nightmare Level
  3. Hell Level
  4. Inferno Level
Player Characters Vs. Monster Levels In Diablo 3

Normal, Nightmare, and Hell difficulty levels were all availabe in Diablo 2, the predecessor to Diablo 3.  In Diablo 3 we will see a major change to the character and monster level ratios we saw in Diablo 2.  This new Inferno level difficulty will be much harder than the old end-game content of Diablo 2.  In Diablo 3, player characters will be able to advance to the maximum of level 60.  The weakest monsters in Diablo 3's Inferno level difficulty are level 61+.  This is quite a change when compared to Diablo 3, where most end game monsters were level 84-85, while player characters we able to advance to level 99.  So it will be much harder to farm for items to sell in Diablo 3.

Why Inferno Level?

Blizzard has stated that the addition of the Inferno difficulty level is to provide much more viable end game content.  This allows Blizzard to design the Inferno level as an entire level with replay value, instead of just farming 1 or 2 areas over and over as in Diablo 2.  We will be able to farm the entire gaming world on Inferno difficulty.  This is great for replay value as well as easing the gold and item farming grind monotony.

Blizzard has also released the information that each level of difficulty will have their own unique sets of gear and items.  There will be new sets of items and gear that only are available within the Inferno level of Diablo 3.  We can safely assume that the items from Inferno difficulty will be the ones that sell for the most as they will be some of the best items available.  Items from other levels of difficulty will still sell as each item is only useable after completing specific character levels or difficulty levels.

Anyone else excited about the Diablo 3 news to add in the Inferno difficulty level?

Diablo 3 Guide To Farming - Solo or Group?

Farming In Diablo 3

Making gold and real life cash in Diablo 3 is going to very heavily geared towards grinding out killing the same creatures over and over and over again.  We call this Farming.  We will be creating games, jumping into dungeons, and farming the creatures within these dungeons in hopes of great gear drops that we can sell on the in game auction houses of Diablo 3.  Collecting the gold and junk items that are dropped by the various creatures in Diablo 3, will also be a viable option for Diablo 3 profits.  Since Blizzard is going to be allowing the sale of gold as a commodity on the auction house, this is just as important.  Although options for flipping items on the Diablo 3 auction houses will exist, the majority of players are going to making their cash from farming gold and items.

Diablo 3 Farming: Solo Or Team?

The big question that is yet to be determined is whether it will be more profitable to farm dungeons and creatures as a team or as a solo player.  In the past Diablo games, adding more players into the dungeon increased the power of the creatures and minions contained within the dungeons.  Along with this extra damage and survivability, came increased gold drops and better item loot tables.  If this holds true in Diablo 3, then multi-player farming teams will be the way to go.

Some questions to get answered before completely making a decision on teaming versus solo farming are:
  1. Are creatures going to have better loot tables in multi-player dungeons like before?
  2. Will looted Diablo 3 gold be split among the players in the dungeon or close to the gold source?
  3. Will there be a random roll to determine who gets the items that are dropped or will it go to the first player to run up and drop it like in Diablo 2?
Regardless of the answers to these important Diablo 3 questions, there will exist gold farming cartels.  We just don't know yet if those cartels are going to be more profitable than adventuring and farming as a solo player.

Are you planning on implementing a 3 or 4 man farming team or are you going to tackle Diablo 3 solo?

Diablo 3 Guide To Making Real Cash With No Investment

Capitalize on Diablo III AH Mistakes

Diablo 3 Gold Tips Guides To Real Cash Profits

Let's face it.  Anyone who wants to make cash while playing Diablo 3 without having to invest any real world cash to get started, is going to have to do some farming.  Obviously, you would have to spend real life cash on the Pre-order of Diablo 3 by Blizzard.  What I mean is you will be able to make real cash on the RMT auction house without having to pay additional monies to get started.  How?

How To Profit On Diablo 3 Sales Without Starter Cash
  • Start by farming up Diablo III gold and items to sell for gold.
  • Sell trash gear to vendor or salvage for Diablo 3 crafting parts.
  • Sell quailty gear and crafting parts on the Diablo III in game gold currency auction house.
  • Collect Diablo 3 gold and sell on the RMT AH for real world currency.
  • Use that real world cash to start buying out poorly priced RMT auction house Diablo 3 items to flip for even more cash back on the Diablo 3 RMT AH.
  • Or sell bought Diablo 3 items for gold to convert to cash sales in gold currency form. (Depending on what sells for more.)
  • Continue farming, buying to flip, and moving items and gold from one Diablo III auction house to the other, depending on pricing discrepencies.
Starter Cash - Real World Investment Option

So everyone will be doing some farming to get started making cash, unless they want to start out investing starter cash into the Diablo 3 RMT auction house.  Getting started with an initial cash investment could give you an early advantage as I predict most players will not be investing real cash.  The general mass of players will start out by trying to sell what they have found within the Diablo 3 gaming experience.

In the early stages of the game, you may be able to buy items with real cash (that you invested as starter cash) and start flipping as early as release day.  This could be a very profitable strategy, if you target the correct items to buyout and re-list for profits.  This strategy could also be very risky as the prices in the early days of Diablo 3's release, will be overpriced and inflated.  Hopefully some of us will get a Diablo 3 beta key invite and have a better understanding of what will be in high demand on those early days of the Diablo III release.

How about you?  Are you planning on depositing a little bit of real cash into your account to be able to start flipping items from the release date of Diablo 3?  Or are you going the sell what I find starter cash method?

Diablo 3 News: Release Date & Beta Invite Battle.net Entry

Diablo 3 Beta Keys - Use Some Voodoo Magic

Diablo 3 News Tips

The 2 biggest questions surrounding the upcoming Blizzard gaming release of Diablo 3 are as follows.
  1. When is the Diablo 3 Release Date? Diablo 3 Release Date Revealed
  2. How Do I Get a Diablo 3 Beta Invite?
Getting into the Diablo 3 Beta is a hot topic as players across the globe are salivating at their chances at how to make gold and cash in Diablo 3 off of the Diablo 3 RMT (Real money transaction) auction house.  Here at Diablo 3 Gold Tips, I am also salivating and waiting for the news around the Diablo 3 release date and the Beta Invite announcements.

When Is The Diablo 3 Release Date?

The Diablo 3 Release Date is currently unknown.  Expect the release of Diablo 3 to occur around 6 months after the Diablo 3 Beta Invites have begun.  Blizzard typically has the game in the Beta stage for around 5-7 months to iron out bugs and issues before the game is released live to the gaming community.

UPDATE: Diablo 3 Release Date Announced

How Do I Get Into The Diablo 3 Beta Testing? / How Do I Get A Diablo 3 Beta Invite?

Beta Testing is avaialbe from Blizzard by invitation only.  Blizzard awards employees with friends and family Beta keys for their games.  Diablo 3 will also have open invitationals for random players to assist with the testing on Diablo 3.  Closer to the start of the Diablo 3 Beta, fan sites will be hosting contests and giveaways to award lucky followers with an entry into the Diablo 3 beta invitational.  Currently there is no announcement for when the Diablo 3 Beta testing will be starting.  Blizzard has already stated that the RMT auction house will not be available during the Beta phase of testing Diablo 3.  The Beta phase should begin testing sometime in the 4th quarter of 2011, with the actual Diablo 3 game to release next year.

Blizzcon is coming up in October and Blizzard has already mentioned that Diablo 3 keys will be included in the giveaways for Blizzcon 2011 attendees, but currently there is no information as to whether they are random allocations, contests awards, or swag bag inclusions.

If you get a Beta invite that you are not going to be using, please consider donating your Diablo 3 Beta key to this site, so I can get started on researching the best ways to mak gold within the Diablo 3 universe.

How To Make Cash In Diablo 3 - RMT Options

How To Make Cash In Diablo 3

Here are the options that I have been able to come up with so far as to how we will be able to turn our Diablo 3 gaming experience into some real money transaction (RMT) cash profits with the RMT Auction House and the Dual Auction House System of Diablo III.

What Are My Choices For Making Cash In Diablo 3?
  • Farming gold to use for buying items to sell
  • Farming gold to sell on the RMT AH
  • Farming items to sell outright
  • Farming items to sell for gold
  • Leveling characters to sell (characters can only be sold for gold, not on the RMT AH)
  • Buying underpriced items from the gold AH to sell  for more gold
  • Buying poorly priced items from the gold AH to sell for cash on the RMT AH
  • Flipping low priced gold AH items for even more gold
  • Flipping low priced RMT cash AH items for even higher RMT cash prices
A lot of research and time commitments will be required to learn what items and characters are going to be the most desired by other players.  Once we understand what items, item modifiers, character classes, advanced runes, etc. have the most demand, we will be able to identify the best items to sell as well.

Remember:  Diablo 3 is not a subscription based game, so it's just the 1 $60 purchase  (plus any expansions).
